Thankyou for visiting my website, newly created (change of host), and presently somewhat lacking in content!

I enjoy most photography, especially landscape and outdoors, and outdoor pursuits / sports. I occasionally try my hand at wildlife photography (but lack the patience), and sometimes close-up subjects.

I've enjoyed photography for a long time, having learnt as a teenager using a film camera; a Minolta Dynax 1000, given to me as a present by my Mum, which I still have. I did Photography as an A level (the only one I did well in), but have subsequently decided not to pursue further formal training / education, preferring to teach myself.  I now use a Canon 5D ii, and Nikon D800, various lenses.

I've dipped in and out of photography, never taking it as far as I'd like to, as I've always been trying to pursue another "proper" occupation. Recently most of my photos have gone no further than my hard drive, so I have set up a new website, also for hosting forthcoming events photography.

I live in South Devon, and as well as photography I enjoy running, cycling, triathlon, stand-up-paddleboarding, taiko drumming and aerial yoga. This year I am happy to join the media team taking photos for GB Sup, having decided not to compete in the series this year.

Finally, I can't finish writing a bio without crediting my mother, Julia Rogers, herself an accomplished travel photographer, for instilling in me my love of the outdoors, introducing me to photography and perpetually encouraging me with it (and anything else I ever attempted).  She sadly died of pancreatic cancer in 2015, but memories of her love for photography continue to inspire me.
